For some reason I remembered today that I still had this shot from our trip to Rome in my library that I wanted to share. This was around 9pm and we were on our way back to the hotel after enjoying the evening sun at the Spanish Steps.

The little dog was pretty scared of the escalator that led to this platform, so his owner (the guy leaning against the wall) carried him. This cute sight delighted everyone around. There were only a few people taking this metro and it was a calm and friendly mood down there that I wanted to capture.

As an early retiree after a successful career in software engineering Hyun Su (59) from San Francisco enjoys traveling and taking pictures with his digital medium format camera. Shooting the famous Pantheon here he’s using an Apo-Sironar Digital 35mm f/4.5 lens with a Leaf Aptus 22 digital back.
